2024 Meditation Training

During this 50-hour continuing education training students will learn variations of Meditation practices.  We will dive into the portion of the Bhagavad Gita that teaches how to prepare oneself for Meditation and what that truly means for Mediation to be a devotion. 

Students will work up to meditating for an hour by the end of the training. Each weekend will be paired with a form of meditation that is discussed, learned, and practiced.  We will go through the Bhagavad Gita, discuss the 8 Limbs of Yoga in a way that we meditate with the intention of each limb. 

The training will be over 5 months, meeting one weekend a month for 4 hours each day (Saturday and Sunday). Students will develop an at home meditation practice that they will journal after each practice at home as well as in the studio.  With journaling students will grow a deeper sense of self-realization and become the “Witness” to their meditation practice.
